Anyone who wanted some kind of shipping reimbursement was supposed to tell me when they donated items, though people were strongly encouraged to consider shipping as part of their donation if possible. Traditionally a few of the mods have covered shipping costs for those who ask beforehand, but let me know via PM if you need something and we'll try to help.aaron wrote:i'd appreciate it. there was talk of a shipping relief fund or something, but i think i missed that.gtmtnbiker wrote:Ok, that's fine. Thanks for generously donating the items and doing this. I'll be happy to give you some money to help cover the shipping costs if you send me your paypal addy.aaron wrote: i did. i'll probably just ship them first class. i'd like to ship them one at a time if that's okay. if you get tired of that in a couple months just lemme know and i'll ship 'em out all at once. it's going to be costly regardless.

Just shipped my items off today, sorry for the delay. I couldn't have done anything without the shipping reimbursement so thank you for making that option available to us poor people.
I apologize if I butchered your name... it's been a long week.
SpaceBooger - DC/Marvel Comic Lot
JWatt - Xbox Poker Lot
RetroSportsGamer - Genesis Sports Lot
Aaron - Game Gear Lot
Mr. Healthy - Gamecube & GBA Lot
I hope you all enjoy your winnings.
Also, who shipped me the Nightmare Before Christmas Guide? I would like to leave a positive in the feedback thread.
Finally, Dave you have a pm.

Re: 2011 Charity Auction: Items Arriving! Leave Feedback!
just a few updates...
Items have started to arrive, and with the exception of 1 or 2 donors who have contacted me or alerted everyone in this thread, I will assume all items have been shipped by now. I will also assume that everyone who had planned to contact me about shipping reimbursement will have done so by now (if not, speak up!). If you are shipping late, PLEASE contact the winners so that they know to expect items a little later than was expected.
One of the winning donors kicked in an extra $45, and so I am going to be sending in a check for an even $1400 to the Alzheimer's Association (along with a nice letter) towards the end of this month. That should give time for all items to have arrived and, hopefully, to be alerted whether anyone will require a refund due to breakage/lost shipments/etc. It was great not to have to chase down winning bidders for weeks on end this time, so thanks everyone for relatively prompt payments!
Finally, be sure to leave some feedback here on the forums for the item donors once the items arrive. You can leave feedback for "racketboycharity" over on GameGavel, too. It has not been common practice to leave feedback on the forums for winning bidders, but you should have received some positive feedback on your GameGavel account.

1) On it. I'll have to do some PM backreading to figure out what I donated and what I need to send out. All items will be sent out Priority Mail, 1/10/2012
2) $1,400. That's something everyone involved should be proud of.
3) Will do.
