I have both the DS and the PC versions, and they each serve their own purpose. I find that I can control the PC version better (it's the one I already finished, actually. The last boss was definitely a "HOLY SHIT" moment).

The DS on the other hand, is a bit hard to control for me even with the stylus. I'm not as precise with it (I chalk this up to me being paranoid and not wanting to tap and slide real hard, for fear of breaking the touchscreen). But it's got the portable thing going for it.

played for like 2 hours last night. I think if I had discovered this game in 2011, it would've ended up on my Top 10 list honestly.

I've been playing a lot recently also - iOS version (I'm notoriously behind on stuff like this). I like the touchscreen controls a lot. I did get the discounted PS3 version but haven't played it yet (hey Peggle's on it!). I couldn't imagine how moving a cursor around with a controller is easier or more intuitive but I was told the game worked really well on the system.

works fine for me, but I'm not a fan of touch controls. When I was into DS, I generally did not like games that required the stylus even (except NY Times Crosswords).

Bought it on the Kindle Fire ($0.99, woot!) and it plays relatively smoothly. I am disappointed that Survival Mode is missing from the list of bonus game mode, but aside from that, a solid version.

I haven't played it on many platforms, but here is my ranking so far:
PC > Kindle > iTouch
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I have the PC, DS, and iPad versions. They're all great. The iPad version has the least amount of features (e.g, no zen garden and bonus games). The DS version has download play where you can play against someone as a plant or a zombie. Way cool.

I do prefer the stylus or the touch controls for this game. It seems faster & more precise than using a gamepad or a mouse.

I hope there is a sequel to this game one day.
