Dumbest things you've ever done? (video game related)

I dunno if this would be dumb or not, but i had a CIB FF7, FF8 and MGS for PSX all black label then i sold em in a bundle for 100, i kinda regret selling ff7, but i didnt really like ff8 or mgs. But anyways, I had a green n64 with like 15 games when i was younger then my mom just gave all of them away, i was so pissed. But i got most of them back after but it sucked!

I used to trade in games that were fairly valuable for no reason. For example, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Phantasy Star Online Ep I & II, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and that Ocarina of Time double disc. I also had a new copy of the Zelda compilation for the GC that I traded in to GS for 20 bucks. I used to trade in things for no reason all of the time, which is my biggest regret as a collector (now.)

When I was 17 (2002) I got my first job at GameStop. They had just really started being popular at the time and back then they had HUGE PC game selections on one wall of the store since they were still more popular at the time. I remember we had a copy of FF7 and FF8 for the PC and I remember I never bought them because I already had both on the PS1 and didn't really see why I needed an extra copy for the PC since I never really played a lot of PC stuff other than StarCraft at the time and didn't have a lot of extra cash.....if only I knew.

Not as bad but when I was probly 6 or so my dad told me that if I wanted to get a Genesis back in the day I would have to sell my NES in the yard sell he was going to have and buy it myself since it was not christmas. I wish I would have just waited so I would still have my original console and boxes to this day

OMG YES! I can easily agree. The time I spent on Gamecube split screen.....is...well...way to much. I don't know why...but, I'll never level a character to 80 buy grinding alone.
