I've seen more 3rd party controllers for 3DO than originals. Most have been extremely well-made. I wouldn't sweat it too much - they are not in the same realm as the snes $3 knock-offs.

If an Ebay listing says "comes with controller", then of course it could be a 3rd party controller. 3rd party controllers are indeed controllers, so they count. If you want more details about something, you should ask.

Personally, if they leave out pictures or information about condition, etc., I will assume the worst. If I really want to know, I will ask before buying.

SNES knock-offs -AFAIK- are the worst third party controllers ever made. I absolutely despise them.

There are a few exceptions though. Like the SN ProPad for instance...



The L and R buttons are far superior to the original ones, and less likely to break.

Admittedly, the cord was a little too short...

Ticked- It bothers me how often I see or deal with people who aren't more open, or expand out. Sure, I do somewhat stick to my things, but I'm willing to try/actually see others. I was talking with a girl today, and mentioned that I had been intending to watch some Doctor Who...

Me-"It's a science fiction show out of the UK. Its been running for a very long time, but I want to focus on the newer stuff."
Girl-"Your so weird. Your into alllll this crap, like videogames and crappy TV from other countries that I've never heard of. Pfff."

Ticked: First day of the year and a bunch of threads are full of bullshit instead of their intended topics.

Sadly, that too I've noticed. Big fight in one of them too I thought the forums here were free of "Internet arguments" but it looks like I was wrong.

Can't you as a moderator lock/delete threads or keep the peace perhaps in some of those threads? Especially those that seem to be duplicates of established, year-old threads that pop up every day because nobody takes the time to look before making a new topic?

^It's a bit rash to lock threads as quickly as arguments develop. Maybe there are others i'm missing that have gone more insulting or personal, but in either case - we should be able to talk things out and yes, sometimes disagree.

^^I'm watching Dr. Who season 5 right now. You were wise to end that convo - if she can't get on board with The Doctor, then best to move the tardis to another location and another lady. An excellent show in so many respects.

That's not what he meant. He was referring to the knockoff SNES pads that are made to look like the originals, not all 3rd party ones.

We still have them from to time as we're human. We're just generally more civil about them than most other forums and some discussion does often still happen which could lead to a positive change.

BTW, the original Doctor is still the biggest bad ass of all The Doctors.
