Considering that Ms Pac Man was originally an unauthorized hack with edited sprites, it kind of is like it was a TV moment.elmagicochrisg wrote:You just made it worse...BoringSupreez wrote:As many others have observed, it looks more like crossdresser Pac-man than Ms. Pacmanelmagicochrisg wrote:I always found that Ms Pac-Man disturbing...

Catherine Breillat's The Sleeping Beauty. Based on the classic story, it followed the film's namesake through a surreal dreamworld. This one is also not for kids, JSYK.
What a way to start off 2012.
And this is not to be confused with the Austrailian film starring Emily Browning.

the 2008 version is actually the next movie i'm going to check out. i've found out about it after researching the source of the movie (Let me in). thanks!indecks wrote:All in all though, I loved Let Me In. If you have a chance, check out the Swedish version, called Let the Right One In.
And read the book. It's intense. And dark. And a little scary. Its *awesome.*

Irreversible. The camerawork started to give me a headache. Interesting how it starts of intense and gradually reverts to normal.

Because Hollywood likes the lazy remake route instead of making worthwhile new movies and most people are too lazy to read subtitles?noiseredux wrote:the original is amazing, no idea why they would remake it.

I rather go the route that Hammer Films do whatever they want when it comes to the horror genre.Hobie-wan wrote:Because Hollywood likes the lazy remake route instead of making worthwhile new movies and most people are too lazy to read subtitles?noiseredux wrote:the original is amazing, no idea why they would remake it.

I've said it before, but every time I hear this I just imagine some exec with a giant pile of original scripts that he refuses to produce because none of them are remakes.Hobie-wan wrote:Because Hollywood likes the lazy remake route instead of making worthwhile new movies and most people are too lazy to read subtitles?noiseredux wrote:the original is amazing, no idea why they would remake it.

THIS IS 40
I know it's early, but this may remain as the funniest film of 2012. Better than FUNNY PEOPLE, and on par with laughs from KNOCKED UP. As it should, as 40 basically picks up where Knocked Up ended. There's still some editing changes that I'm sure they'll make, but overall this is your regular Apatow laugh fest. Lots of cameos, not sure which ones will make the final cut though.
