I'm pretty happy with my Wii collection (except for not having the Boom Blox titles any longer) and just need a couple games to round out my collection:
Punch-out
Paper Mario
Mario Sports Mix
I'm also interested in some of the light gun games - need to get a perfect shot I guess and start from there.

Re: How is the Wii doing?
My collection's pretty well rounded thanks to all the Christmas presents I got yesterday. The only thing I'd still really like to get is the new Kirby's Dreamland. Oh, and Xenoblade Chronicles which I will be pre-ordering....soon.
Re: How is the Wii doing?
No doubt Nintendo is ending the DS/DSlite/DSi, and Wii with the rampant Pirating and modding going down, there isnt even a Custom card for the 3DS yet, at not one that i could find
and i dont have a 3DS yet and not too sure i want one.....
Also the Wii U is a total jump in the dark, who knows what it beholds.

For some reason, anything first-party Nintendo commands high prices. Kirby games seem to be the worst.BurningDoom wrote:I still need a lot of Wii gems that are still priced pretty high
The console came out in February. Give the hackers time.Hazerd wrote:there isnt even a Custom card for the 3DS yet

Re: How is the Wii doing?
wow, I didnt realize it was this bad!
I feel a bit uneasy since this is the only console generation I followed from the start until it died out, kind of sad remembering all the hopes we had for the Wii .
2 questions
1) will WIIU support wii games?
2) what games you think will go up in price? Metroid trilogy is already in the high price range!

Buy a "Wii Duo Shot" instead, and get "Sin and Punishment: Star Successor!"retrosportsgamer wrote: I'm also interested in some of the light gun games - need to get a perfect shot I guess and start from there.
You can thank me later

Yes it will.kingmohd84 wrote: 1) will WIIU support wii games?
My guess (other than first-party titles) is the console's light gun ports like Ghost Squad and Mad Dog McCree.2) what games you think will go up in price? Metroid trilogy is already in the high price range!

I could see Fragile Dreams, Muramasa, Cursed Mountain, and Sin and Punishment: Star Successor fetching a high price someday. Xenoblade will very likely become an expensive rarity too, considering it's a limited, late release and is bound to attract a cult following.kingmohd84 wrote: 2) what games you think will go up in price? Re: How is the Wii doing?
I beg to differ. I just picked up Metroid: Other M for $9.99 used at Gamestop and Super Mario Galaxy brand-new at Wal-Mart for $19.99. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii was also $9.99 at GameStop, which I'm going back for! Twilight Princess was $19.99 brand-new at Wal-MartGSZX1337 wrote:For some reason, anything first-party Nintendo commands high prices. Patience does pay off.
Unfortunately, the one I want the most, Donkey Kong Country Returns, still commands a price of $44.99 used.

Fragile Dreams had its high point because it was a low-print run release, but now you can buy copies for half price. Due to how short and consistently gut-punching (almost one-dimensional) this game is, I don't think it's price will jump again.
Muramasa had a low price point, it went down then up already and seems to be tapered off.
S&P has already gone through repeated price slashes and even the bargain bin. It's not a snowball's chance in hell of being more valuable than it is already.
Of course, I didn't think Wind Waker would be more valuable, but here we are at US$120 new/$35 used -- double what the numbers were last year.
