The only difference composite makes is no noise. I have an RF cable that has the same quality.

Actually PAL model MDs are **** scarce in the states. Good luck finding one available from a seller located here. the only thing i know thats differ between mod1 and mod2 is that the sound chips are differ. The better one of course is on the earliest model ones genesis.
