The only difference composite makes is no noise. I have an RF cable that has the same quality.

Well, in case there is any confusion, this is basically what I did:

Actually PAL model MDs are **** scarce in the states. Good luck finding one available from a seller located here. JPN is more likely to see AFAIK.

the only thing i know thats differ between mod1 and mod2 is that the sound chips are differ. The better one of course is on the earliest model ones genesis.

Why would you want PAL console? Are better sound chips rare in Genesis?
