I know this system is at the end of its life, but it looks like its almost DEAD . I hear of no one talking about it, to be honest I hear more talk about Wii-U, and no more games. Whats funny is no one is even excited about it on the opposite of ps3 and 360 which I know people still are excited over its multiplayer and graphics.
The only thing that would make you turn your head towards the Wii is the new Zelda which received much praise, but other than that I dont think I heard anything exciting going around for the Wii.

Pretty much dead, yeah. Besides Xenoblade, I don't think there's even a single major release coming out for it.
Zelda was confirmed as the last Nintendo-developed Wii game.
If you're interested in the Wii, now would be a good time to dive in. Lots and lots of cheap games, many of which I'm sure will be expensive in the future.

Agreed, the price slump has started here in Australia. Brand new systems can be had for less than $150, complete systems are showing up on eBay ~AU$100, I scored my incomplete system for $30 at an op-shop (goodwill/thrift), console, stand and power-lead only! Now seems like a GREAT time to buy, even if it is only for the dozen biggest titles/franchises. The pace of releases has dropped off, but a part of me thinks the lead-up to and post WiiU period of games will be the ones that really push the limits of the console. Hopefully...

Yeah it is dead for the most part. Now is the time to snatch up those back log titles!

*rubs his hands in anticipation*
Guess how I got my PS2 game collection to over 50 games? Severely reduced prices on used games! Here's to hoping the same happens to the Wii games.
I still need a lot of Wii gems that are still priced pretty high:
-Bit Trip Saga Complete
-Donkey Kong Country Returns
-Epic Mickey
-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

You might even want to pick up one of the many, many awful titles (ie. "Petz Sportz" series) before those get recycled into shoelace aglets.

Also, many many Wii fit consoles that were used twice and forgotten will start showing up I reckon!
