I got $250 in Amazon gift cards so that'll definitely go towards game stuff. Guess that counts. Also, I got Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Not the biggest fan of that game but eh, gonna pop it in right now and check out the new characters. I quite like the roster additions.

Enjoy it. The games look freaking amazing. I wasn't a fan of all the PS3 remasters at first, but after playing this, I am now a believer.

I wouldn't normally upgrading my PS2 games to PS3 games, but for SotC just the idea of seeing it run in HD was too awesome for me.

dsheinem wrote:This was also the first Christmas where my son was old enough to have a full understanding of what was going on, and watching him open toys (and play with them) was the best gift of all for a sappy old nostalgic fart like me.
My 3 and 2 year old were in the same boat. The "Santa" magic worked for the first time this year and they had a pretty nice haul. Each of them got a car and track set (one race car one train) from Santa and my oldest got a LeapFrog Explorer (like a kids DS) while the 2 year old got a ton of Mega Blocks from us.
The only present I had under the tree was a nice bottle of Makers Mark and my wife some new slippers.

With my wife out of work and my income being the only one for a family of five the presents were limited but watching my kids, like dsheinem said, was something straight out of a Christmas special. It was that awesome and my most memorable Christmas thus far: Happiness > Presents
