Well, I got a uDraw for Christmas

Post by BoneSnapDeez »

Oh yes I did. My wife's parents know I have a Wii, but they don't know much about video games. So every year we get a couple casual/party style titles. This year, I got a uDraw. I won't be able to test it for another week, but I took it out of the box and the thing seems pretty cool. Problem is, every game released so far seems to be THQ shovelware. And with the Wii U coming, I doubt we'll see many quality titles for this peripheral. Anyone else own one, and have you found any use for it?

I'm slightly intrigued about getting a PS3 one. I don't know much about it, but it seems to be failing pretty fast. And I'm always drawn to failing accessories haha.

I've seen one in action and it seems like it has some untapped potential. I'm really surprised it hasn't been released for PC since it essentially is a cheap but effective drawing tablet.

I've seen these games clearance for the wii where I live.

Dont care much for them. since they aren't my cup of tea

makes me wonder how acessible this is with the new wii revision.

Is it wireless?

Its not like the "active life controller"? Connected to the wii?

that died as well and I think it may not work with the newer version of wii.

This. It's a great peripheral, but there's not much out there worth playing for it.

I agree that it does have potential. I think the best kind of game for it would be a 2D sidescroller with the option to draw your own levels and play through them. Too bad such a thing will never exist as THQ has been too busy churning out movie licensed shovelware instead. :(

Oh yeah, I did get the Pictionary game for XMas. I'll try it out when I get home.
