My god, I hate people my age, I honestly think I'm the only 13 year old guy who hates Beavis & Butthead, I get all the jokes, it's just ridiculous and over the top. And you guys call me immature. I've never seen worse.

I'm 26. I love beavis and butthead. It's a satire about people who are actually that dumb. That is why it's funny.

But back on topic: yes, I hate people your age. I was never your age, because I knew better than to pick such an obnoxious age to be. I just went straight from 10 to 16. The abrupt body change was surprising, but it worked out overall.

See now I thought Beavis and Butthead was funny too. I haven't seen the new stuff, but the old was definitely making fun of stupid people. Conversly I don't think I cracked a smile at all when I watched Kung Pow with friends a few years ago. I'm also convinced that Aqua Teen Hunger Force causes brain damage and the only people that like it have had part of their mind damaged. This includes one of my best friends.

But hey, different tastes. Also puberty makes people suck. I know I was a jerk on occasion in that period.

I think what makes Beavis and Butthead work is that it's so shamelessly immature and dumb. It doesn't even remotely try and pretend it's anything more than that.

As a fan of the 1993 original, I am loving these new eps of B&B. I think it was wise to not mess with the presentation and the feel much, and I like how they got ever so *slightly* more intelligent in the 14 years they were gone. Riffing on the MTV shows helps too

People are way to serious. The show is intended to be dumb, and it is. It bothers me today to see all these kids that are like "Beavis and Butthead is so dumb and stuff", then turn around and watch Jersey Shore. People just seem like they know the difference between having some goofy fun and being immature.
