I don't think that'll go over well with the BBB.
To be fair, private businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone they want.
I don't think they have the right to beat people to death with a House of the Dead arcade gun though.

...besides, that'll probably damage the gun a good deal.

Shhh. Nobody will know. And the guns at that place are reinforced with steel and have extra long cords. Seriously.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

No need to clean up the blood. People'll think it's just decoration...

I'm fine with this, on one condition: the carts must be already broken. If they aren't:

Those clocks all looked like they had pretty perfect labels and shells. I'd expect broken carts to be more abused, especially in those numbers.

Although, that just made me think of something that might make it not so bad, though maybe a little dishonest with the pricing differences. What if the labels were just repros and they were all just SMB/Duck Hunt games? I doubt it though since some of those games, why would you bother making up fake labels just for a photo shoot unless you were going really far to complete the illusion of the store variety?

To me they are destroying NES carts for no reason. It would make sense if they actually put some numbers on those "clocks".

Not rage, but they are rather dumb looking and a waste of some good games. Also, probably a little over priced.

I actually know a place at last check had an F with the BBB and still had no shortage of customers coming in for service. Wonder how many people actually check that these days..

Thinking about it, taking a cart and putting a digital led clock in the top part of it and leaving it so it could actually play if you plugged it in to the system. Now that would be something interesting. :o

Anyways +1 to the value of the games destroyed to make a boring clock.

:? I'm really hoping that they are fake carts with reprinted labels. I hate to say it, but it's more hipsters cashing in on our retro culture.

While I think something like this could be cool, they didn't go anywhere with it besides just putting hands on the carts. No artist paint job, no game themes besides the label, or anything else remotely creative. They could have just laid a huge turd, wrote "video game", and stuck a clock in it. Shit Clock.

I'm more sad than angry. Some of those classics I haven't had the chance to play through yet! Now it's hanging on the wall some gentrified Brooklyn loft. Okay... I get there's some rage in there too.

It should be recycled, reclaimed, and repurposed into my fricken' nintendo. Heck
.. even a donor cart for a repro or new game would be nice.

[/i]Williamsburg[/i]. ;) But you're dead on. It's "hella annoying" as my San Francisco friends would say.
