hmm, Final Fantasy.. Battle Toads.. yeah still not rare but eh...why.

I'd buy some fakes of rare games made as a clock. Yeah man, totally drilled right through little samson to make a wicked clock. Cool right?

Gaah, stupid clock hands!! Get out of the way so I can play my game!!

Although this idea is pretty slick, I'd still prefer a Game and Watch.

Bah! Rage here, even the common games will become rare years from now.

Stuff like this bothers me too. Don't destroy games to make stupid looking clocks. The ironic part is these are supposed to appeal to gamers. As a gamer myself, I wouldn't want to give money to someone who is destroying games!

I think most of those games are still too good to be reduced to clocks. SMB combo carts? Sure maybe. The thing is, turning something into a clock is one of the easiest crafty things you can do. You buy a cheap clock mechanism, drill a hole, screw it on, put the arms on, done. As many as they have up for sale, they probably have the process down and I bet it doesn't take them more than 10 minutes to make one of these. Hell, driftwood/stump slice clocks made in shop class require more effort as you're cleaning, sanding, and sealing the wood.

Now if there was something creative with numbers and indicators or a housing for the clock, maybe that would be a bit more exciting. I just see these as a $2 mechanism, 10 minutes, and a wasted cart. :(

I plan on getting a job at a local retro store when I can. If I do, and anybody comes in to buy games, I'm asking them what for. If the reply is anything besides to play them, I'm going to kill them with a House of the Dead arcade gun. (AKA, beating them to death with a hunk of plastic.)
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

I don't think that'll go over well with the BBB.

To be fair, private businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone they want.
