Enjoy high school, seriously. Once you grow-up, it's all responsibility. Going to work, paying bills, making sure the wife and family are happy. High school was so carefree. And schoolwork is so much less stressful than the real world. The Last Horseman wrote:Ticked:I'm still in highschool, and I miss the old days when we had good TV. I want Samuri Jack, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Dexter, Two Angry Beavers, The Amanda Show (pre Moody's point) and other classic shows we no longer have. This shit nowadays is horrible.
Smile:Off school, and one channel is running an Amanda Show marathon.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Smile: Left a racketboy business card on a co-workers keyboard last Friday. I arrived this morning to find that the co-worker had sent this e-mail to the entire company (~300 people):
Subject: "missed connections: dc3"
you were that person who put a card on the keyboard on my desk. i was the guy who wasn't at his desk when you put the card there. i checked the URL on the card, and i found the web site to be pertinent to my interests.
thank you mystery person for leaving a card on my desk with a URL on it that was pertinent to my interests. i don't know who you are, but judging from the URL, we could very likely be friends. i was thinking maybe even we could hang out and visit the URL together some time. i'll wear my favorite pair of slippers, and you can operate the keyboard/mouse if you are comfortable. it would be a good time, but i'd have to insist that we use my favorite internet browser for internet browsing, Google Chrome, to view the URL together. maybe later we could go out for ice cream, but i'd have to insist that we both eat my favorite flavor of ice cream, Cookie Dough. i will let you optionally substitute an Orange Julius in case you are lactose intolerant. at least i don't think there's any dairy in an Orange Julius.

Ahh, those were the days. Listening to a scratchy record while poring over the cover & liner notes. I was psyched when an album included the lyrics because I was real bad at figuring out what they were saying.Ziggy587 wrote: The biggest reason I bought the actual CDs instead of just downloading them from iTunes or a torrent is because I like to look at the album artwork and the booklet and whatnot.
Physical Graffiti was one of my favorite albums to study.

Still buy vinyl, still puke rainbows over covers. A HUGE amount of metal, rock, and country bands still realease on vinyl.

Well, I was officially offered the position today, and I've accepted. Folks, I am now an employee of Turner Broadcasting! I start January 9th with orientation at the CNN Center and will then go on to my position at their Techwood location on January 10th.
