Terrible news for his family, but hopefully good news for North Koreans and the rest of the world. We'll have to see what his son does as he takes over.

If I recall correctly, his son largely shares the same views as him. At least I think I read that somewhere.

That doesn't strike you as propaganda? Not to say that the son doesn't think the same, but I wouldn't trust anything coming out of NK to be factual.

I don't take any joy in another man's death, but I am breathing a sigh of relief. That guy was undeniably crazy, and he made no secret of his nuclear ambitions. Let's hope his successor (whoever that may be) is more moderate.
