What system to collect next.
Now that I have made up my mine over the last one and got the Atari Lynx, I have begun thinking of which one I will get next, if and when I do. I have 3 in mine.
The Sega Master System as that will finish my Sega console collection. Already have the Sega CD, 32X, and Nomad. I like the size and look of the system itself along with the games and what it can do.
Or the Atari Jaguar. I have known about the system since I got my second system( I now have about 9) but always seemed to find a better system first(such as passing up one with 2 six buttons controllers, s-video, and 20 games for 130 dollars with original packaging for system and half the games, which included Rayman, Ultra Vortek, Raiden, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and other good ones. Half had the original boxes, for a Saturn). There are about 20 games that interest me. I like the design of the system and for some reason I always remember it, also Atari's last system.
Lastly will be the Neo Geo CD as I like there style of games and what the system tried to do.
What do you think of the 3, which would you chose. Just wondering.
EDIT:Currently I own NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Sega Genesis/CD/32X, Nomad, Saturn, Dreamcast, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, Atari Lynx model 2, Gameboy Advance SP backlight, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Xbox 360.

Well, ultimately you're going to have to pick what interests you most, but as a personal vote, mine would go to the Master System, and the Master Gear Converter would be the clincher, as well. However, I'm sure that's disqualified when I say that I'm not actually interesting in owning the console, since the Power Converter lets my Genesis play SMS games just as well.
Neo Geo CD would probably be next, as I just can't justify collecting the tiny library of decent Jaguar games. But then again, my username doesn't have the words "Atari" and "fan" in it...
By the way, what consoles/handhelds do you currently have?

I'd go with SMS collecting if I were you. It's easier, and the games are more fun.

Re: What system to collect next.
Master System gets my vote, solid selection of games and a sleek looking unit. Can't go wrong with Sega. Jaguar gets my second vote. I've heard that the Neo Geo CD has massive load times (like 60 seconds between matches for fighting games). The CD reader speed is 1x, so... I dunno it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Considering you elaborted more on the Jaguar,I think its safe to say you want us to tell you to get a Jag.ATARI800XLfan wrote:Now that I have made up my mine over the last one and got the Atari Lynx, I have begun thinking of which one I will get next, if and when I do. I have 3 in mine.

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I'm sorry, but....ATARI800XLfan wrote:The Sega Master System as that will finish my Sega console collection. Already have the Sega CD, 32X, and Nomad.
WHAR DREAMCAST WHAR
No Sega console collection is complete without it!

But ATARI already said he had both, so it's a moot point.

But Dreamcast > Saturn... so does that mean Dreamcast > all things in life?
