For 600 Club Nintendo points, starting on 12/16. It ships in February of next year. This is for Japan only right now, but I imagine that it will quickly become available for other regions.

I think you overestimate the US's Club Nintendo.

I forgot to mention that if you register Skyward Sword, the gold nunchuk will only cost 400 points.

I suggest that US folks voice their complaint about the generally crappy Club Nintendo rewards that we get by emailing Nintendo using their webform:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp

Enter your email address, select "Club Nintendo" and then "General Questions/Feedback"

I asked Nintendo why we in the US do not get rewards like the gold nunchuk or the Wii SNES controller and only get cheap junky trinkets. Voice your complaints and let them know!

"Dear Nintendo of America,

I'm angry at you for not providing us better gifts that are essentially free. Please give me better free stuff! If I take these survey's and take three seconds to register the game I bought (just to have the game I really wanted); I demand I get better rewards for doing this.

They're not free. You're essentially paying for it in the form of higher prices. There are lots of loyalty programs out there with far better rewards (e.g, Amazon Visa, Southwest Airlines). Yes, I think Nintendo is the only one of the console manufacturers with a program unless I'm mistaken.

The better controller could go for lots of points (e.g, 3000 or 4000) or be subsidized (points plus cash). It might give me incentive to buy some more games to reach an exclusive product that is not found in stores.

Why shouldn't we get points for doing survey? It's a way to give incentive to users to provide feedback. Otherwise, I would just flush it like I do with most surveys.

Does it bug anyone else that the cord is white? Cuz' it bugs me.

Not saying I wouldn't take this of course, but I can't help notice that.

Thats the first thing that I noticed yes.

Although it would make it match the wiimote, as the buttons are white on that. Didnt think I would like the white buttons, but now that I've got one in my hands it really sets it off.

I hope this comes to the uk, and I hope its only 600 points as well.

You are almost correct, Sony has one but you need to be a retail employee to join

already got a couple games, only down side is they charge $10 shipping for every item, so even though i got 2 $40 games for free i still had to pay $20 to get them.
