The OP wants to use it in his GBA. The Lite version will not work in a GBA. It's only for an NDS.Anapan wrote:Don't stop now. For 38 USD you can have the M3 you want (+ it's rare apparently). This will be a win-win situation. The M3 Real bundle Brandon would trade it for does all the DS home-brew in DLDI compatibility mode using the Slot 1 cart as a ram/rom host but the slot 1 cart is useless in a real GBA.
This would make Brandon's DS complete for his needs and you'd get a perfect GBA flash cart with forward compatibility to DS software if you ever needed it through the pass3 cart (this was the best DS option available at the time - fully compatible with all the current software, tho not as slick as the slot 2 DS options available now).

Re: Where to Purchase an M3 Perfect
The M3 Perfect is definitely the best card I've used for the GBA. I also have EZ FLash IV which is ok. It doesn't have real time save or in game reset. The SRAM is smaller than the M3 Perfect so larger games will be written to NOR Flash which is **slow**. However, once it's in NOR Flash, it loads quickly. So if you power it off/on, it's still there.scarper wrote:
I guess the only thing I'd be worried about now is compatability issues. Does one technically work better than the other, or is it really... PERFECT![]()
Thanks for this guys.
EDIT: I suppose I'll probably be getting the EZFlashIV, now that this is a conflict of pricing and availability. So far, the only real bad thing I've read is bad NDS compatibility, which I won't really care about at all. Real time saving is also not an issue to me, since my Pokemon playing would probably still be done on actual copies.
Unless you can find someone who will sell it to you used, I think your best bet is the EZ Flash IV because it's around $25 versus $100. If you have extra cash and can spare it, then go with the M3.
Avoid the Lite or the Pro versions as they are not for the GBA.

first off i never got my order that i initially paid for (about 2 months ago now) and to top it all off they didnt have the M3 Perfect that i ordered in stock. In exchange they offered me an M3 Perfect Lite (not a pro as they linked me to the product on there page) in which case i said yes this is an acceptable replacement also specifying that i intended to use it on my GBA/Game Boy Player AND TO MAKE SURE IT WAS NOT A PRO. I FINALLY go my order TODAY (12/8/11 keep in mind i ordered this back on oct) and the item WAS NOT AN M3 Perfect Lite IT WAS A FUCKING M3 Perfect Lite PRO THAT DOSENT EVEN WORK IN MY GBA / Game Boy Player.
so ya now i have 2 mod shops on my shit list mod chip store as well as console source SO NT EVER EVEN THINK OF BUYING FROM EITHER STORES BOT HAVE PULLED A SWITCH-A-ROO on me (console source sold me a shinobii console tool set and sent me a zoo zen when i tried to inquire about it i never got a reply) YOU WILL GET RAPED IN THE END

Hopefully you used a credit card and can just initiate a charge back. That's what I would do.

But it didn't cost you anything if the chargeback is successful (should be in 99% of cases). Now could you use the card to just play GBA roms on an NDS?
I might have a pass-through card somewhere that came with my M3 Perfect. I'll have to look for it. Just remind me via PM in a week if you don't hear from me.

thats just the issue tho i hace no NDS and no intentions of owning one they kind of annoy me, thus me wanting to trade what i have now off for something i can use via GBAGa,e Boy Player
IF you want to come off a pass threw card tho that would make my package more interesting for trade for something i actually want
