Boggles my mind,
I particularly remember playing Dizzy on my Nes back then, and I wasnt aware of any switches or problems in fact I believe I had 4-1 cart.Since its unofficial who knows what cart variant I had of it but I remember lil Egg dude!
Also mjmjr25 you have any UL games you can checkout on that top loader?
If that works rather have that then the clones..
Have to get this game running to relive the times I had...like majorly
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
Also, a NES-10 serves no useful purpose. It isn't present in any Famicom or the revised NES-101 Toploader. If you already have a working NES you don't need a Famiclone - just disable that lockout chip.
The only thing it does is prevent you from booting your games when they're slightly dirty or are unlicensed. Unless you have absolutely no technical skills whatsoever, you should open your NES-001 'toaster' and clip pin 4 so its robbed of power.
Doing this is very very easy. If you try this though, make sure you watch some youtube vids on it first. There's some great v ideos that show exactly how to take apart an NES and put it back together again. Of particular important is the screw tension on the ZIF cartridge bay. You want it to still be springy, which means you need to leave the screws somewhat loose.

Pardon? There are 6 screws that hold the tray on. 2 of them are longer than the rest. As long as they are put in the right places and the tab is put over the front of the board properly, everything screws down normally. If that tab is sitting on top of the board improperly but the screws are tightened normally, then the tray doesn't work properly.
