completed a neat little genesis reproduction project!

So about a week or so ago I snagged one of those laughable reproduction copies of Alien Soldier that brunoafh happened to be selling (thanks!!).

The label on the thing really was hilarious:



Not only is the label ridiculous but it was a megadrive cartridge so it wouldn't fit in my CDX.

The next step was to snag a US genesis game and box:



I'm pretty sure that no one is going to miss this.....

It took a little experimenting with some images I got off the net before I had things printing up at the right size. There seemed to be a lot of misinformation out there about the exact dimensions of box art and labels for some reason. Also, the print size of the images I got were close but definitely not the right size, lol.

Anyway, after all was said and done I ended up with this:



I'm pretty pleased with the outcome! Now my genesis collection is complete. It consists of Alien Soldier and Pier Solar

Dnb thats sick, my days with Dnb were Roni Size "Brown paper bag"& Bad boy Bills Feat lisa May "wishing on a star".lol
Now its strictly House,funky,deep whatever..

But nice work on the label and case btw should fit pretty with Pier Solar!

It's just generic adhesive backed label paper. I'll do it again most likely because it's not glossy enough for me. I've heard there is adhesive backed photo paper or something like that out there but this was all FedEx Kinko's happened to have on hand.

All in all it cost me $2.18 to print the box art and label lol

not really sure why it matters but I gave brunoafh the $25 he was asking for it. NFL Quarterback Club 96 cost me all of $1 lol
