My initial reaction is "oh neat", I kinda want it for Lunar, but don't know if that's super overpriced. Bearing in mind it's pretty hard to find stuff like this in my area.
Is 200$ way overpriced for a Sega CDX system with games?
Re: Is 200$ way overpriced for a Sega CDX system with games?
that is an excellent deal, especially if the games are CIB! Jump on it...

Yeah that looks like a good deal to me! I'd snap it up if you've got the cash personally.

I've seen the CDX for $100 at a store recently and I would say the games could be purchased individually for $70 to 80. However paying individual shipping on each would push the price up to over $200 if you had to buy separately.

Emailed him to ask after the condition of games and cases. If the games have no cases I'll probably still get it, but will be somewhat less excited I guess

Slightly. Except inclusion of the REAL genuine MK-4122 power adapter, would make it worth getting. That part is remarkably tough to encounter for sale separate at decent price. They're almost always paired with a console.
Also yes. It is indeed true Power Base Converter fits CDX. Making the system in fact have greater Master System support (barring mods) than a Genesis 2.

I can't believe any of you are hedging on this - I was under the impression that CDXs regularly go for $150 or so by themselves. Is this not the case anymore?

plus if you jog, you'll also have a new Discman to take with you now!

Nope. Not anywhere near. Shame for such a criminally underrated system.dsheinem wrote:I can't believe any of you are hedging on this - I was under the impression that CDXs regularly go for $150 or so by themselves. Is this not the case anymore?
I myself recently sold a IMO gorgeous CDX and got less than $100 after postage is factored in.

It's driving me absolutely insane, I emailed the guy a couple of days ago, have sent him a couple of follow up emails, no response. He's posted other things on that website since December 1, but isn't responding to my emails. Waaahhhhh
