I think the Turbo Grafx is the superior system. However, the games are generally more expensive than the master system

Your so full of it, you know you want both. I have both, but play the TG16 more, but having an import converter has a lot to do with that. The TG16 may be more satisfying to collect for, but SMS games easier to find.I don't feel like buying them both
How about getting a Wii and downloading all of the SMS and TG16 games?

TG-16 has WAY better games. Especially if you like shmups.
But the Turtbografx games tend to be harder to come by, at least in my area. So you'll probably need to buy most of them online

Master System. Not a fan of Shmups

If you choose MS over TG16 (both are pretty good), get a Game Gear instead, as well as one of these:

I'd recommend importing a PC Engine Duo if possible.

If you love shoot 'em ups and money isn't an issue, go for the Turbo Grafx. Overall, I'd recommend the Master System though - it has a large library with some great titles, no region protection (aside from Mark III games), and is a lot more affordable to collect for.
