Am I aasking too much for this?
Am I aasking too much for this?
Just your thought's as gamer's if I am asking too much money for this posting. http://worcester.craigslist.org/vgm/2733762521.html. I do this with a system I am no longer playing and sell as a lot for christmas money so I can give my kids a great christmas. Last year I sold my snes collection and the kids had a great christmas last year from it. If it's too much money in your opinion let me know on how much you think it might be worth for gamer's and collector's. Thanks guy's

If you had all the boxes and manuals for most of those games then I think it would be an excellent deal. But if most are only the cartridges then I think the price is a little high.
Also, with a posting that big I would highly recommend a picture or 2 to show off the whole lot. When people are spending that kinda money they want to see what they're buying beforehand. Otherwise, they could drive a long way and show up to discover that everything is in horrible condition. I've been there and I'm sure anyone else who buys things often off Craigslist has been there, too.
Assuming that everything is in good condition, I would say $400 is a slightly more reasonable number. But if someone is a hardcore collector, my guess is that they own a lot of those games already. So I might even suggest taking it down to $350. I wouldn't go lower than $300 though because that is a pretty decent collection of games.

One thing that may help is to list the games out line by line instead of in a huge text block paragraph. It is great you took the time to list them all, as many on clist dont, but after about 5 games my eyes hurt and I stop wanting to read the games lol. Might give you more hits.

Agree, you should be able to get $400 out of that set but like other said, presentation is everything. Take some nicely staged shots of everything in good light with a good camera and make sure it is well organized in the pictures. Make the list go one game per line to make it easier on the eyes. You also might put some of the more valuable games up for sale separately for individual prices. Most collectors will already have a lot of those titles.

Haha, with the 3ds and ds library, you could get some N64 ports anyways; Super Mario 64 DS, Diddy Kong Racing DS, Starfox 3D, and Ocarina of Time 3D.
