Re: Dungeon Defenders
Started my new character on ranked last night.Really struggled to find a game with similar ranked people. Most rooms were lvl 70 challenge rooms.
I ended up hosting my own room which didnt get any visitors until late on.And a lvl 44 guy joined who had a huge hammer and then systematically went around destroying all my defences?Much to say i quit out of that.
Im going to have to just get lucky with rooms or step my game up.Im learning the pick ups better now and am in the habit of selling things i dont need at the station every round,Might not be the best thing but since im still learning i think im right.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
I convinced another of my friends to grab the title, we played 3 player last night. I learned that a tower based Squire is good in certain situations, but a tower based Mage is superior in most. Though the Cannon Ball Turret is good fun. And maybe I just didnt play a trap based Huntress right, since an AOE Monk is killer.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Right ive now hit level 11 on my ranked knight character.I bought a pet and again i cant find where to turn it on.I scanned all the options available in the hero section but no dice.
Im wondering if maybe pets are class specific and ive bought one for the wrong one?
Also im noticing in ranked play all apprentice's spam their towers all over the level meaning i have to get stuck right in for kills. Not a problem really just a gripe.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Unless the PC version differs vastly from the PS3 version, your pet should end up in the Item Box. Mine so far have only been on the first page of the Item Box.
The slot for the pet can be seen here just to the left of the Chest piece.

And yes there are a few class specific pets. Guardians and Animus as I recall. They will be named something like Squire Guardian or Monk Animus. Those are specific to their class. I understand that you get one of each after beating the Ancient Dragon on easy/medium/hard (Guardian) and Insane (Animus). See http://dungeondefenders.wikia.com/wiki/Familiars

I definitely recall seeing the pet slot there before I had the pet.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
I was just coming to say about this deal!Dammit im too slow.Well anyway its 2.49 in british pounds,Plus all the dlc is reduced.I just bought all chargeable dlc for just 1.80.
I now have more people to play this with!
Question:Can you setup a private match on ranked servers so you can still earn achievements?or lock the room to friends only?
Anyone on the fence should definitely pick it up at this price. It has a lot of depth and is great fun to play with a pad.
