Cool you got a 2600. You just might want to consider adding somewhat proper punctuation to your writing, as it is very hard to read with your run-on sentences.
Also, in your video... I might be wrong, but did you just say that a couple of you games had the connectors broken off? I'm pretty sure that they are fine, just that the plastic, spring-loaded, dust cover inside the cart is close to flush with the end of the cart. Just push it in the machine. You can even push the cost cover back into the cart with your finger if you want to play with it.
You also might want to consider keeping your camera stable when shooting videos, as well as having a well-lit room. They are difficult to watch.
Good luck

Re: Question on Atari 2600
The PacMan cart probably isn't broken, the dust cover is probably a bit "sticky". After all these years with dust and dirt buildup they can get stuck. Just take your thumbs and press down on it hard until it unsticks itself.
Older. Not wiser.

EDIT UPDATE, found pic from the OP's OTHER Thread.

Maybe post a direct pic so we don't have to slug thru a video? The RCA cord is the RF cable. Just get a RCA to Coaxial adaptor.MrAverageRetro wrote:It has the Atari logo but the RCA cord is hardwired into the console itself is this a different model it is a woody heres my video of it and I would really be mad if this turned out to be a remake, emulator or what ever I bought it a trading game store it shows aging to me at least and he said it is a genuine Atari 2600 it even came with an RF Modulator.

Be careful you might break something, you have to unlock a side tab first. DO NOT push it down all the way the spring might pop! From looking at the pic I pulled from your other Thread the spring looks like it already popped inside. This could short out the cart and possibly kill your 2600 with the metal spring bouncing around in there.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:The PacMan cart probably isn't broken, the dust cover is probably a bit "sticky". Re: Question on Atari 2600
I think this was a valid separate post. This one is generally discussing the system and the other was a specific problem with a specific cart. No need to merge as it wasn't really a duplicate IMHO until you quoted the PacMan cart stuff here.CRTGAMER wrote:EDIT UPDATE, found pic from the OP's OTHER Thread.

Re: Question on Atari 2600
Just remember that the label faces away from you when inserting the cart. The end label likewise should be read correctly instead of upside down.

another tip
you can use a genesis/mastersystem controller on your atari!
in case you get tired of handling the original that comes with it.
