Netflix Update Wii Problem
Netflix Update Wii Problem
I updated the Netflix channel yesterday. The update made Netflix slow and annoying. Later I decided to play Okami and the Wii does not recognize the Wiimotes. The only way to turn on the console on was by pressing the button on the console. I tried to sync the Wiimotes by pressing the red buttons on both the Wiimotes and console, but it does not work. Any ideas?????
Re: Netflix Update Wii Problem
Haven't run into the wiimote issue yet, but on my parents Wii the Netflix buffering is terribly now. They have slow DSL... it used to do a long intial buffer at the beginning of the vid, but be fine most of the rest of the time. Now it does a smaller buffer time and frequent rebuffers to the point of being quite annoying.kgcarini wrote:I updated the Netflix channel yesterday. The update made Netflix slow and annoying. Re: Netflix Update Wii Problem
Haven't had a Wiimote issue, but I have noticed that after the Netflix update, the interface seems much slower. It's like it never caches the cover art whereas the previous version did.

never had it stop a show to buffer on the wii until this update, and the menu seems awfully slow. wiimotes are working fine though.

Re: Netflix Update Wii Problem
Reading this thread is odd because just before the update, my Wii had recently become quite troublesome to stream Netflix on. It would stop and buffer just about every 7 minutes or so.
Now after the update, I haven't had the issue happen once! I was thinking that maybe the update was an attempt at fixing that bug. Sorry to hear of your troubles guys - buffering is a bitch.
