Re: The Legend of Zelda Games N64 and Beyond
I'm a big Zelda fan and it's sad that I haven't played 3D Dot Game Heroes yet even though I bought it a year ago. I'll have to put it on my to-do list. Right now, I have too many pokers in the fire: Ocarina of Time (Wii VC), Skyward Swords (Wii), Limbo (360), Half Life 2 (PS3), Prof Layton (DSi).noiseredux wrote: I ADORE 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's honestly the closest a console game has come to LttP since... well LttP. I think Wind Waker does a great job, but I feel like you'd actually enjoy 3D Dot Game even more, since it's a lot closer to the overhead style of LttP. And if you're a fan of retro RPG's in general, you're going to constantly be like "OMG! That's from (such and such a game)! Awesome!"

Isn't it a PS3 exclusive? If so, I'm not gonna get to play it. I do have a 360 and a Wii, so if I'm wrong, please inform me.gtmtnbiker wrote:I'm a big Zelda fan and it's sad that I haven't played 3D Dot Game Heroes yet even though I bought it a year ago. Because of thisneilencio wrote:Wasn't repetition a major part of Majora's gameplay?
You'd think the time thing would make it repetitive, but it didn't do that to it. The 4 dungeons were artfully wrapped into the game.I mean, MM sums it up by only having 4 main dungeons
At least it wasn't like, "well I got this artifact, now I need 8 others to beat Ganon." That's getting old.
Re: The Legend of Zelda Games N64 and Beyond
Majora's Mask is my favorite 3D Zelda because it does try to be different. Only four dungeons is very refreshing and Termina Field actually has quite a bit to do unlike OoT's Hyrule Field. Give it a try if you're ever in the mood for another try at 3D Zelda.
