Looking for a VPN

Post by RCBH928 »

You can call me paranoid but I want to join a VPN service to be extra secure
I never used any and looking for advice, so far I have been looking at VYPR VPN as they have unlimited use. Would you please advice me on the topic? which service shall I pick? is it really secure?

Overplay. It's affordable and has an extensive server network around the world.

Though, in the final analysis, any VPN is only as secure as the people administrating it. The Lulzsec people, for instance, used a VPN for their bullshit and at least one of them was apprehended by law enforcement after government bodies leaned on the VPN company for logs.

Though I don't see this being an issue if you're not planning to use it for anything malicious. Given what I know about the situation in your part of the world, I think I understand the need for a little more privacy even for everyday internet use.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Never heard of it. The idea of a "Private Network" is moot unless you only communicate to select locked in terminals. Going online is the World Wide Web. I wonder how much protection you gain as well as access speed loss you lose by having all your traffic bounce thru a VPN system.

I don't see how bouncing your world wide online traffic thru a "Private Server" is really any more private. I would not get it, especially if there is a monthly fee. If it is anything like Norton on my relative's computer which I deleted, VPN might slow down your online access speed.

Norton is a bloated piece of crap but even the firewall in some versions has almost nothing similar with sending traffic through a VPN.
