Strange that you do not know. A shopkeeper explains it within the first hour of the game. You would have had to go in there to buy the wooden shield. Maybe you just missed it in the roughly one million lines of dialog we had to go through until we were able to actually, you know, fight stuff.

Aw. I liked that. The Robin Williams video was particularly amusing
why does robin williams have a homeless beard going on? kinda disturbs me
Yeah, I wondered about that too lol. Nice to see a celeb pimping video games and you gotta love his daughter. Nice, cute and open about liking video games. That's a win in my book

He shaves the beard off in the Four Swords commercial after losing to his daughter.

Yeah I think it must have bounced out of my mind along with most of the other text that I was reading

Ok, so I finally got to spend a decent amount of time with this game. I just have one thing to say…

Fi can go fuck herself.

I am so goddamn tired of her popping up to tell me the most obvious shit. It's far more annoying than "hey, listen". Every time the screen freezing and she pops out, I am reminded of how badly I hated that shit in Twilight Princess. It is seriously making me want to quit the game.

I don't need you to tell me that I found a Kikwi. Obviously, I found a Kikwi. I just talked to him. Obviously, there is another Kikwi somewhere, I have only found two so far. I don't have the memory of a fruit fly. I can remember the last five minutes of my life.

The worst is the dousing shit. Fuck dousing. Seriously. I even tried to get through the game without doing it, but the game literally forces you to use it in some places. I actually had Fi pop out at one point and prevent me from walking across the screen because I hadn't yet doused the area.

I am sincerely hoping that treating me like a retard with no short-term memory is going to end soon. Otherwise, I am giving up on this game. I don't have much hope, as Twilight Princess was still acting like I could barely remember which button did what many hours into the game. I'm surprised I haven't come across any auto-platforming yet here.

This game is 100% linear and full of busy work, fine. But don't constantly remind me of every little thing, especially when I have specified "pro" in the options! Even my six-year-old daughter is getting annoyed.

I just finished the game myself, and I not only would be willing to rate it as the best wii game ever, and the best zelda ever, but as of now, I'm tempted to rate is as my favourite game ever. I realise thats not an opinion most people will agree with, but I just felt like every moment I spent with this game was pure joy, and I'm tempted to start from the beginning and play it again right now. I've NEVER wanted to do that with another game before now.

My bundle copy should be arriving soon! Going to leave it sealed as I've got a Wii Remote Plus already, and I downloaded the game. Ups the resale value if I decide I don't want to keep it. 8)

I'm shocked at how many people dislike this game. Even if you take into account that tha percentage of these people are trolls, there are still to many people moaning about it for my liking. I agree that it is excellent, but for me its a tie between this and TP. Although SS fixes some of the annoying things about every Zelda game, for me it hasn't yet captured the atmosphere of TP. Other than that - its outstanding.

I'm in the mine atm and I just got the bellows, and its left a space at 12'oclock on the item screen. Have I missed something?

@zing I don't think she is as bad as navi, but when she interupts she goes on and on. Wish there was some way to skip thru the text. I've been playing for the last few hours with low batteries in my remote and she is constantly bugging me about it. I don't want to throw them out until they are totally flat, doesn't she know that there is a global problem with pollution. bitch.
