The black Wii with Mario bundle is $150 on Amazon, I thought that was the normal price. Best Buy must have a sale price on it. $100 for a Wii is a good deal in my opinion. A "Wii Minus" isn't a bad idea, in my opinion, either. As it has been said before (in different threads) it's not like this isn't the first console to remove features and sell at a lower cost. I admit though, it IS pretty lame that it's the same case with the Gamecube flaps glued shut, that's pretty cheap-o. How much could it have possibly cost to redesign the case a little?

That's the point. It's not being sold at a lower price. The previous Wii model was sold for 150 with mario kart and the wii wheel AND GCN compatability.

got one last night for my 6 yr old. so is the bc the only difference? i've read a few comments about it not having wifi. i never payed attention the the og wii so i don't know much about them. didn't know they had wifi anyway.

And that the "wii" on the front of system is horizontal so the system sits horizontal.

I own a wii but purchasing one these days is a rough call. I have yet to see the blue one, but I would stick with the gamecube if I did it all over.
