Re: High Score Forum.
Yeah, like Octopod said, cheating is not really a big deal. It's not like anyone would get money out of their scores (is it?).

I see Metal Gear Solid speed runs if this were made.

Re: High Score Forum.
Any more thoughts on this? Really all that is required is making an extra forum section. Could stick the "High Scores" section right under "game reviews".

I love the idea. Could speed runs be implemented as well?
Re: High Score Forum.
Since Keith Apicary says that we discuss high scores we should probably actually do it

Great idea for a thread.
Some people will start "I don't believe you" arguments, but the majority of the people at racketboy seem very honest. And if someone lies about their score, so what?

Re: High Score Forum.
The Hi-Score threads on other forums haven't created arguments. Folks who are likely to break actual records tend to record their games and post on said forum / youtube, etc.
If your not doing anything groundbreaking - then its no worries.
With that said - a functional Hi-Score thread essentially requires a sub-forum and a thread for each game. Then the person who started the thread is responsible for updating the first post w/updated scores. Its a lot of work to do it right.
I'd be happy to update a few - but theres is work to be done before any of that could take place, ie a dedicated sub-forum established first.
