mega man 9 and 10 reproduction cart

were these games programmed with wii coding or are they actual nes roms that could then be put onto a reproduction cart, wishful thinking i know but i seriously hate download only games i really need something tangible to put on my shelf.

nope. They're not NES ROM's.

you could buy the fake NES cart that Capcom made as a promo. It's probably a ton of money though.

lol i think i could probably hire a programmer to remake megaman 9 and 10 from scratch for the nes for less then it would cost to buy the mega man press release game

Probably is. Mine is still sealed because it's too awesome to unwrap. They even put a series of price stickers on the shrinkwrap.

Easy way to spot they don't run on original NES hardware: No flickering.

come to think of it, why HASN'T someone rom hacked mega man 2 or something to turn it into megaman 9?

The sprites flicker though, don't they? I remember reading about how they designed the game so it'll feel exactly like a NES game, with sprites flickering at times. I haven't played it since it came out though, so I don't exactly remember.

You can turn flicker on and off in 9, in the game it's referred to as "Legacy Mode". 10 does not have this option if I remember correctly, so it has no flicker.
