Super Mario World in a box

Post by markeconrad »

Is Super Mario World in a box really as rare as eBay auctions make them out to be?

How rare do ebay auctions (and prices) make them out to be?

Considering it was a pack-in, I would see it as possible.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Mario-Wor ... 336e539939 - 199 obo for a Player's Choice

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-MARIO-WOR ... 1626wt_698 - 299 For Display Only Box

Edit: I've seen a few more for cheaper, but still more expensive than I thought it would be.

The f

I've seen the standalone game; it was like $29.99 MSRP or such a few months after the SNES launched (when Nintendo released a single-controller, game-less version of the console)... and seriously, US$300 for a sealed game that was fairly common is  -ing ridiculous.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
