Mostly trees, red pine to be specific. We have bees as well. And veggies of course, mostly tomatoes, squash, and herbs. No farm animals and nothing too high maintenance (thankfully).Luke wrote:Whoa. Nice.BoneSnapDeez wrote:<snip> farming...

Jeez a loo, that's awesome. I have a little over a third of an acre, and it took my wife and I over 5 hours just to rake the property yesterday.BoneSnapDeez wrote:[

Oh, I have no idea either how to start an orchard, but I know a few people who have them. From what school taught me you just eat apples and spit out the seeds while wearing short cut jeans and a pot that sits on your head sideways on your head and "Voila", you got yourself an orchard.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Apple orchard is cool idea, but I don't know the first thing about the business. I want to expand the beekeeping eventually. My wife wants to open an ARCADE.

It's 200+ acres which is kind of overwhelming, and not as cool as it sounds as most of it is forest. I took a walk for about an hour the other day and suddenly thought to myself "Well shit, I haven't even left the property yet".
You must have some special skill that lets you bond with animals quickly. (About the only time anything on four legs liked me was in Harvest Moon.)The Last Horseman wrote:Might just be who I am, but plants are way freaking harder than animals. Just me though.
