For grins, some old quick and dirty pictures I took before Katrina evacuation.

So yeah, Transformers, Gobots, and a little bit of everything was cool with me. I do have 2 really really terrible cheap triple changers that came from Walgreens or Eckerds. One does helicopter/spider/robot and the other is jet/dragonfly/robot.

I collect both of them.

Had lots of them when I was a kid. Still have some now. Few years ago some asshole stole a sizable amount of my transformers.

well these are some of my transformers...... dont hate!
Absolutely amazing! That looks awesome. Set-ups like this make me VERY tempted to take my action figures out of their packages.

DAMN HOBIE!!!!!

you also have some nice transformers too!

I wish I had jetfire again! that one toy was one of my faves!! Almost all diecast metal on that one.

I still have about half of my original collection.

Most all of my G1 transformers were stolen when I moved in to a new apartment a few years ago. When I took my first trip of stuff. Someone broke in to the apartment and made a mess. I had clothes and some dishes and my box full of transformers. Bastard also stole my gamegear with about 20 games.

One thing I dont like about newer transfomers is that they are never complete when you find them at fleamarkets. I find beastwars toys and others, and they are missing limbs and are basically incomplete. DAMN YOU BREAKABLE JOINTS!!!

I have a few boxed things not in those tubs too, but I'd say overall it's comparable about wise to your displayed collection although mine are stuck in the dark in my closet. Thanks. :)

Now If only I had the hands!
I used to know someone who collected Voltron and had tons of spare parts. Lemme see this wekeend if he has hands.
Apologies. Found out my old buddy eBay'd everything when he got married. (Damn, the sucker has kids - with an 'S' - now.)

Hey, I recognize those camo'd tanks! I got some of them when I was a kid in Hong Kong. (This reminds me of a "name all 150 robots in this picture" contest over the summer I never finished. Dammit, forgot the contest URL.)

I wanted to like Transformers, but it has too much commercial>artistic value. And the fact that they transform into human-designed vehicles is silly, though a few have unique designs.

They have to be earth vehicles, it's called Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

I guess you aren't familiar with the plot of the series or even seen the first cartoon.

The robots used to transform into "futuristic" vehicles. They crash landed on Earth, were severely damaged, and lay dormant for millions of years. A volcanic eruption awakes the ships computer who sends out a probe to explore the land. It discovers modern vehicles and begins to rebuild the robots (both Decepticons and Autobots, who were fighting each other on the ship at the time of the crash) into the forms it sees.

Actually, not all of them even transformed into vehicles. Throughout the series, flashbacks have been made to those that turned into weapons, tools... heck, in the pilot to the original cartoon, Soundwave (the spy who turned into a radio) disguised himself as a lamp post.
