I had my Nes hooked up to a 13" black n white tv via that connection in the 80's.
Man it was so cool to have a tv in the bedroom back then. :)

My first bedroom TV was a 13" B&W too. Haha, that was great. Nothing like clicking to your 13 channels with a rotary knob!

My first bedroom TV was a little bw portable with a tuning dial (no presets). Shortly after I got the betamax top loader to go with it and I thought I was the bee's knees.

My first bedroom VCR was a top loader, a little bigger than 2 oXboxes, with a WIRED remote. Thing weighed a ton!

Wired Remote? Daaaam. That is pretty hardcore. I remember not having remotes.
And hell yea those old analog dials that make that clunk noise when you changed the channel.
Had a big old ball of aluminum foil on the antenna to get that "clean" picture on the 3 channels I could pick up.

Do you remember the model Ziggy. I almost bought a huge top loader with a wired remote a couple weeks ago to make into a htpc.

The one I got free and used as a second machine for copying tapes was about that size and 6 inches deep. I swear it weighed 15-20 pounds too.

Pretty sure it was GE, the exact model I don't know. If I saw it, I would know it right away. You don't forget a thing like that!

Yeah, I had two VCRs too for copying tapes. That was the life! I still have that second VCR, I couldn't bring myself to through it away. It was my parent's first VCR from when they were married. My dad told me they paid something like $500 for it. It's not as big as the top loader, but it still weighs a ton.
