It doesn't come with a PS3. basically you're getting a 3D monitor + glasses + game (2 games if you pre order but think that offer ends Sept 30).

You can hook up your PS3 to watch movies or play games, or connect a Blu Ray.

Dual player gaming feature means you both need to be wearing glasses to see your own view of the same game.

$500 pricing looks good for the US, it starts getting higher in other countries (eg £499 UK which is equivalent to about $700 off the top of my head)

So anybody pick one up yet or get to use one? If so what did you think? I didn't even know it came out until I saw it on sale at Wal-Mart yesterday for $500. From some of the reviews I've read, the really only negatives about it is that doesn't come with a remote and that the speakers suck.

It's a shame that this isn't 30"-32". I would have jumped on it (even for an extra $100 for size differences) when we were out looking for a new TV the other day.

I can get a Vizio 32" 3DTV with many apps, 3 passive glasses and The Lion King for 500-550 dollars so I'll stick with that.

...and the Vizio TV will come with several dead pixels, have terrible colour representation, and break after about 2 years.

Have fun with that.

Proof? I have a 2 year old Vizio 32" 1080p HDTV, no problems at all.

Have fun complaining :? .

I got one on Sunday. I needed to replace my 19" monitor in my home office so this was the perfect excuse. I am so happy I preordered it when I first heard about it because Gamestop also included Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 with it.

I wasn't that interested in 3D gaming so I figured a 24" would be fine for a little fix here and there. After replaying Uncharted 3 on it I now want the biggest 3D TV I can fit in my house.

I am sure the initial cool factor will wear off but for now it's pretty amazing. It is taking me forever to get through stages because I am stopping to stare at everything I come across. Hanging off some of the big cliffs and buildings makes my legs tingle like I'm about to fall or something.

GT5 is also good if you race with the interior view. That is if you have a premium car. I will keep from going off on a rant about the disappointment that is GT5. I was surprised how many 3D games I already had. Both the ICO and GOW collections look pretty cool. So does Killzone 3 and Crysis.

Overall I am happy with my purchase but the 2 extra free games definitely help justify it. I priced out 3D monitors at BestBuy and the cheapest one that is comparable was a 23" Asus for $330. That's pretty much what I paid for the Sony monitor once I factor in three free games. Also there isn't a whole lot in that price range. The prices seem to go up pretty quick from there.

I do have a few small complaints though. First is that the screen is too damn reflective. I have to turn most of the lights off in the room or I can see my reflection on the screen. I might actually rearrange my office so I can't see the light fixtures behind me.

The sound is ok as long as you don't turn it up really loud. I don't know if I would even go as far to say "really loud". I turned it down a few notches from where I would like to have it just for the sake of sound quality. I game with headphones a lot so that isn't that big of a issue for me.

This complaint might even be fixable in the settings since I haven't really messed with them much but the edges do bleed some light through. I only really noticed it so far on the loading screen of Uncharted since it is pitch black. I have played the same game on my 55" Samsung LED and it doesn't do it. I have not seen any bleeding during game play but it does annoy me during the loading screen.

Some of the dark sections on Uncharted get a little harder to see then I remember but that just seems to be the nature of stereoscopic glasses. I don't think it's any fault of the monitor.

I have not tried the simulview feature because I only have one pair of glasses so far. I am still a little confused why they didn't include two pairs of glasses if that was going to be one of their major selling points.

If you ask me in a few weeks how much I like it you may get a little different answer but for now it's pretty awesome. I wouldn't recommend it for your only TV unless that's all the bigger you want anyways but for a toy to have in the office or bedroom I can't think of anything better.

Overall the picture is amazing even when it's not in 3D. I have a older 32" Samsung LCD and it has that beat for picture quality. I would say it's about as good maybe just a hair below my 8000 series Samsung 55" LED.

I am a pretty big nerd when it comes to electronics so just having a matching Playstation TV to play PS3 on is almost enough to justify the purchase for me. I am glad I don't have any 3D xbox games because it would almost seem wrong to hook my xbox up to it.

Our family has tried 3 Vizio TVs. 2 of them broke within the first year. The other one has been running for 3 years, but has developed about 15 lime green stuck pixels. Not to mention the video quality is EXTREMELY poor. There's a reason they're so cheap. If it works for you and you're happy with it that's fine, but, that doesn't make it a great product.
