Ok, so I know several of you use label makers alot. Which one would you buy right now if you had to. I can no longer buy labels for my early 90s label maker, so I have to upgrade. I want something with moderate priced label tape, can print atleast 1/2 inch wide, battery and AC powered. I have found several low end brothers that fit this but I am curious to yalls thoughts.
I need to get things in my work area organized again and I figure bins with labels on them, and small boxes, will be very helpful. That and when I move it will be invaluable.

No cheapo replacements anywhere on the net? That sucks. I unfortunately don't have any suggestion for you as the last one I used was at a previous job years ago.

Yeah, its really old so no one supports it anymore. Back in the late 90s I bought a large amount of label tape off ebay but have ran out of it. The whole device is dying on me now so it is time to just get a new one.

I spoke to my buddies in the film industry, they suggested the Brother 2030 series. So I bought the 2030 with the AC adapter:
Its on sale right now for $21, cheaper than the device without the AC adapter. Sadly it does 3/4inch labels and not 1inch, but the price was so much cheaper so Ill live.
