TIP! Skyward Sword bundle may be limited! Amazon sold out!

If you were planning on picking up the Skyward Sword gold Wii remote bundle you may want to go and do that now! The bundle disappeared from Amazon completely. Look it up. Gone. I contacted them and this is what I got:

Maybe they'll be getting more in (I didn't ask), but if you were planning on ordering from Amazon and getting it at launch you may be out of luck. It seems pretty definitive to remove it from the website. Maybe it's just that they're out of bundles that come with a soundtrack? Dunno.

Glad that I placed my pre-order back in Sept. I looked up my order and when I click on the item description, I get the page-not-found error which confirms that it was removed from the website. It's odd that they removed it. I would have thought they would change it to "out of stock" or "unavailable"

Already pre-ordered my bundle. Nintendo did announce that both versions would have a limited print run with the Zelda 25th anniversary concert disc. Gamestop is still accepting orders for the LE.

I just found this out. It's really not a bad price all things considered, I thought it was gonna be like $90 for some reason.

I noticed that last week, too. It was rather odd to see that when I went to my email to find my pre-order for the LE I placed back in August, I clicked the link (in the order confirmation email) to the item and was greeted with a 'product not found' error page. Not a page for the LE with a 'sold out sign', but like a 'item not in database!' error. Funky. What prompted me to check the page was nintendoworldreport posted a real-life picture of the controller and I think the gold finish looks atrocious. I ended up cancellation my LE preorder on Amazon and preordered the standard edition at the local Gamestop.

The finish looks fine to me, in fact better than the images I've seen before.

I ordered mine yesterday, its going to look really good on my shelf
