Exactly, don't say "THERE ARE KIDS PLAYING WITH MICS DONT BUY IT FFS" when you can easily mute or block anyone.

I did, but then all I got was the hate mail. I eventually got really sick of haxxorx and stopped playing. I know people hack and use aim bots and other cheats. Why should I pay for dealing with that?

I usually set my game settings on Halo Reach to find matches for people that play for fun. I haven't received a single piece of hate mail ever since I did that.

because I already have a Turbo Duo and although I collect older stuff I want to use the giftcards to buy $150 worth of stuff. I have a hard enough time getting to Gamestop let alone take a nutshot so someone can buy the cards off of me for much less than they're worth.

If only ebay still let you use store gift cards to pay for auctions...
Fair enough! Since you already have a Duo, thereby showing the world that you are extremely intelligent, you have my full support. I recommend Elder Scrolls V and maybe that new Zelda game. Can't go wrong with Zelda, can you?

I'd say get Zelda w/ the golden Wii Motion Plus remote, and spend the rest on whatever used titles you find that you've missed out on.

I didn't personally bother with Twilight Princess, but I wouldn't let the 'waggle' factor of that game turn you off of Skyward Sword. From what I've heard so far, the motion control has been improved indefinitely.

I'm a freaking kid in a candy store and only able to choose a very small handful and for literally any system!
Four pages in and no one has asked "Why spend your $150 on just a few new releases at full price, when there are hundreds of other choices at Gamestop?" The biggest scam in gaming are $60 price tags that go down after a few months, and are 1/2 price a year later. Personally, i'd rather get a stack of used games than a couple of overhyped new ones.

Maybe you have pretty much everything that appeals to you available at GS already, and just want some new games, fair enough. I'd get Raiden IV. I usually see a copy during the occasional visit to Gamestop, but balk at the $30 price it always seems to have.

I agreed the prices are complete shit. Back in the day when games were $30 each, I thought that was too much. Suppose you can attribute the price hike to the ongoing DLC that everyone offers now. As far as Raiden, I think I have my fill..

I was just playing Air Zonk the other day. TO this day I still love that game, very impressive for a mere 8 bit system.

I usually get tons. Not to brag, but I was pretty good at Halo. I would average about 8 different medals online. Man, I had to start fending off friendly fire a few times because someone didn't get their daily challenge or something. My summary screens would usually go like this:

Then of course since I had everyone muted, I'd start getting messages questioning my sexuality, race, mentality, and maturity. I'd laugh hard most times considering that I played with my wife (so we'd double up on kills), I work 40 hours as a government employee, in my own house, and while my daughter screams, "Yeah, my dad got a triple kill stupid!" So no, not gay, can't play all day, have a life, probably closest thing to success most kids will ever see.

When were new games $30 each? Maybe back in the 2600/Colecovision/Intellivision days, but even then I'm pretty sure games were often $39.99 or $49.99. Consider inflation, and games are actually cheaper now.

16-bit graphics chip in the Turbo. It lives up to it's name. :)

Air Zonk rocks and does have some nice graphics for sure.

I take it you're a BIT of a Raiden fan?

If we are talking bits, the main processor in the PS3 is primarily 32-bit. The Intellivision is 16-bit. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I really should scan in the old nintendo power magazine I have that shows the MSRP of various Super Nintendo games. $64.99 for Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage, $69.99 for the SNES port of Art of Fighting, etc. Freaking $59.99 for Lester the Unlikely.

Actually I bet retromags already has it scanned probably.
