- Assassin's Creed I, II: Don't know any outstanding differences in either version.
Batman Arkham Asylum: The PS3 version lets you play as the Joker, I believe.
Bayonetta: I heard that the 360 version was superior, but how I don't remember.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Both versions have a Limited Edition, but I don't know what it has...
Catherine: The PS3 one calls out to me more mainly due to the cover...
Dante's Inferno: The PS3 has the "Divine Edition", whatever that means...
Toy Story 3: The PS3 version lets you play as Zurg as far as I know...
FINALLY got enough money to get a PS3 and some games...

FINALLY got enough money to get a PS3 and some games...
I've been wanting to get a PS3 for some time now, especially with some of the games that are coming out for it (Batman: Arkham City, The ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, the Sly Trilogy, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Demon's Souls, etc.) but there are some games I want for the PS3 that are on the Xbox 360 as well:

Valkyria Chronicles is a great PS3 exclusive, as well as Yakuza 3 & 4. Check em out.

The Uncharted series is a must for PS3 users! Can't recommend that series enough.

Do you like RPGs? Eternal Sonata is my favorite PS3 game, but is certainly a niche title. I also recommend 3D Dot Game Heroes, Valkyria Chronicles, and White Knight Chronicles.
If you can find it, Hyperdimension Neptunia is great too. Especially if you can find a copy with the original art book.

Get Bayonetta, Catherine, and Assassin's Creed on 360, and the rest on ps3 from that list you made.

Just out of curiosity, what makes Catherine better on the 360? Is it something along the lines of loading times, framerate, graphics or something else I've missed?swiftzx wrote:Get Bayonetta, Catherine, and Assassin's Creed on 360, and the rest on ps3 from that list you made.

Re: FINALLY got enough money to get a PS3 and some games...
I traded my PS3 copy of the first Assassins Creed for the 360 version just because the PS3 version doesn't have trophies.
Bayonetta I only played after they had a game patch for it on the PS3 so I don't know if it was really as bad as the interwebz are claiming but I have never had a issue with it.
A older cheap game I liked a lot was Heavenly Sword. I didn't care much for it at first because I thought the combat system was too simple but it's actually pretty damn good once you learn how to use it properly.
My general rule is if I want to play the game online I get it for 360 otherwise I buy the PS3 version.

My general rule is exactly the opposite because I don't pay for XBL Gold.drunkn ghost wrote: My general rule is if I want to play the game online I get it for 360 otherwise I buy the PS3 version.
And, actually, I tend to stick to the 360 for many third party games (unless I really want to play them online) as 90% of the time they look better on Microsoft's hardware. If you just got a PS3, you have a treasure trove of exclusives to keep you busy for a long long time, many of which are superior to anything you'll find on the 360.

3D Dot Game Heroes is always my first suggestion for PS3 owners.
