If you count all the Yoshi abbilities plus Marios then theres Cape, Flower Power, Spin Jump, Standard Yoshi Tongue, Fire Breathing, Stomp, Fly (Yoshi), Cloud Surfing.

SM3 Tail, Flower Power, Statue, Hammer, Frog, Shoe Hopping.

Now I think SM3 is MILES ahead of SMW but SMW has its own thing going on.

SMW was far from dumbed down wtf.

Stages were a lot bigger for one, you had Yoshi, all those secret exits and whatnot. Hardly a downgrade imo. At worst it's on the same level as SMB3.
