Was very thrilled to seen paranormal act 3 and unfortunately didnt live up to expectations.
NEG-
-Too many cheap scare/jump tactics
-Shot all in a home camera view with about 4 stabled position the whole movie. (meaning you will be seeing same 4 screen 90% of the movie)
-Wasn't that scary and lagged too long... i found myself yawning several times.
POS-
-sound effects
Overall Score - 5.8 /10

Watched LITTLE MONSTERS last night. Loved as a kid, and I know why. It's crude, contains foul language, your typical bully drinking urine, and a wise ass who eats peanut butter and onion sandwiches as the star. As a kid, I thought the lead was perfect, the girl was cute, and the monster (howie mandell) could be a perfect friend to get into to mischievous with.
As an adult, I just have to take the movie with a grain of salt and enjoy it for what it is. The movie has a lot of faults, and I can't help the fact I'm all film-schooly when I judge movies, but it's still a lot of fun and entertaining. It's a 3.5 out of 4 stars on being fun, but as far as judging it as a movie, more like a 2 out of 4 stars.
We all have crappy movies we like for our own reasons; this may be the only crappy movie I like that isn't bad for the sake of being bad (Oh Hi Mark).

If it makes you feel any better, your reviews on here have never once struck me as "film-schooly".
