Some of my consoles are more than a few feet away from my RGB scart port, and their cables just aren't as long as I'd like. I want to get an extension cable for them but I am not sure if it will support RGB or not.
Here is what I'd like to buy if they do support RGB:

I know that some scart switch boxes do not actually support RGB, so is it also possible for scart cables and joiners like this to work the same way?
Any help or advice is appreciated. This scart stuff can get very confusing for me.
Do these Scart cables support RGB?

Both are fine and support RGB...
When a SCART cable has all 21 pins there's no doubt it supports RGB.
Actually, once you know what every pin does it's quite simple...

Actually there are SCART cables with all the pins that don't support RGB. Although the pins are there they aren't actually wired.elmagicochrisg wrote:Both are fine and support RGB...

On the other hand, there are SCART cables without every pin that fully support RGB output (if I recall correctly, the official GameCube cable is one of them).
EDIT: The description on the first one states it's fully wired so it should support RGB.

Damn. Just when I thought I had scart figured out. Thanks for the input all the same. I already ordered both those parts so hopefully they will work out well for RGB.brbgs wrote:Actually there are SCART cables with all the pins that don't support RGB.
