So very true. Though I don't think a video of highly skilled speed runners is quite indicitive of the average person's experience with Quake. A nice simple "blowing shit up at a fast pace" run would have been sufficient.

DLC, tons of unskippable company logos, stupid tutorials, no challenge at all. It shows some of the problems with modern gaming. He left out a lot of things too. Today's games are actually a lot worse than it seems from this video.

What I hate about articles like this is that in a few weeks from now Kotaku are going to be sucking CoD's penis when MW73 comes out. Irony. I think articles like this piss me off even more than the issue here.

Good video though, but I agree with Popo the random speed running in comparison was kind of weird.
