Any fans of the music from Super Mario Land?

Post by Hookshot_John »

I just posted up our retro track review with 13 songs from Super Mario Land. We had Muda Kindgom and Rocket Ship Ride tying for first place.

Definitely a underrated set of music. Be sure to check it out and listen to each one! Let me know what your favorite song is!

I love the invincibility music. Makes me want to dash through all the enemies but I end up falling into a pit. :(

Yeah I seem to lean more towards whimsical or low key music. Something that is really catchy and definitely not repetitive. At least with my retro gaming music!

It really doesn't click in my mind as Mario music. It is still very catchy, but every time I hear it on YouTube now and again and rack my brain.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

the music is half of what makes Mario Land 1 such a special game. The music is unlike anything else in any other Mario title.
