I like all of them BF3, Batman, and Skyrim.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

What are your thoughts on the campaign? I'll begin playing it as soon as Catalyst 11.10 v3 is installed. Unfortunately they tried to copy CoD too much in this regard, but sometimes CoD campaigns can be mindless fun (my favourite is MW2)

Re: Battlefield 3 ?
That's terrible to hear, CoD campaigns are horrendous to me. So damn scripted and boring, usually ~4 hours max as well (well maybe that's a blessing!)
Not like I'd buy Battlefield for the campaign anyways though...

Big disappointment that they didn't extrapolate from BFBC2's adequate campaign structure and went all-out CoD on us, but as you said BF isn't purchased for the solo experience nor is CoD for that matter (though I rarely play online with CoD, damn games are too hectic)

Re: Battlefield 3 ?
So i picked up bf3 lastnight for the ps3 and from my first impression the graphics are pretty good. Didnt beat campaign mode yet, but im guessing campaign pretty much is a training course for you get ready for online play.
As for online play i really love the big maps and use of the vehicles even though the controls for them are pretty rough.
Im not really a big shooter fan so i cant really tell you the technicality of BF3 in comparison to other big shooters like COD. All i know is its fun and the maps are nice and big.

Re: Battlefield 3 ?
I've been enjoying the campaign thus far. My brother has been telling me nothing but positive things and crazy moments in multiplayer that I had to jump in. Multiplayer is fantastic, I practiculary enjoy Rush Mode - the vehicles and overall scale of the battles are awesome. Definitely a fun game.
Re: Battlefield 3 ?
FINALLY got the game working... playing solo right now, pretty typical filler material. If you want a performance boost on the PC simply lower shadow detail level.

Re: Battlefield 3 ?
I will be getting this IF they ever decide to release it on Steam, until that day, no DICE. (pun intended). I have bought it on 360 and have been playing the multiplayer quite a bit. I'm not convinced. Some of the levels are amazing, like the one with the base jump in it. That's awesome. I hate the fact that you have incredibly shit weapons to start with, it makes the opening few ranks so frustrating to play. Especially when you unlock another slightly better than the previous weapon's stock functionality, and have to unlock all the fucking scopes/foregrips/barrels etc. ARGH. FUCK THAT. In retrospect I loved the simplicity of BC2s system. Also, those menus are HIDEOUS. Why does it blur the screen every time I try and change an option. Who's idea was that because they were obviously on fucking crack or something if they thought that blurring the entire menu screen every time you press any button (including directions) was a good idea seriously needs hitting over the head repeatedly with 'UI Design for Dummies'.
I want to love this game but with the incessant fucking camping/sniping and being blinded by a flashlight from a 100m away IN DAYLIGHT (seriously wtf? Have the devs ever seen a flashlight in broad fucking daylight?). It just makes it so fucking annoying. It makes me want to go back to BC2

Yes I don't get the flashlight either. I'm also disappointed this gunship didn't make the cut

Playing at 720p it's really hard to aim at a distance.. too bad unlocking scopes is such a chore.
