sega genesis cart sound problem halp plz

so i just bought gunstar heroes from amazon and it came to day, when i put it into my genny it didnt work at all. so no problem i just cleaned it as usual with a little rubbing alchohol and a q-tip and now it works but the sound coming from the left speaker is all messed up making wild wierd noises when i unplug the white av cable it sounds fine but then i just have mono sound. anything i can do?

Are other games working properly? Maybe you didn't get it clean enough or maybe some dirt that was on it before is no lodged in your cart slot? Might clean the cart some more and at least use canned air (do not blow) on the console slot.

update game now works fine, dunno what was going on maybe some alchohol got inside my genesis and created a short and now dried up, and i must say that this game is titties
