Real video on x64 [resolved]
Real video on x64 [resolved]
I'm having problems trying to play RMVB video on Win7 x64. I installed the Real Alternative package, but MPC-HC 64-bit doesn't decode anything Real at all, even if I enable internal filters/splitters. This is disappointing because I watch everything using MPC-HC. Are there non-DRM x64 Real media codecs that I can use?

They still make Real videos?

I still have tons of the suckers, be it game commercials or old VHS rips etc.

Re: Real video on x64
I don't see Real listed in the FAQ specifically, but perhaps installing CCCP will help.

I like to install the fewest amount of codecs since MPC-HC decodes almost everything internally (but I'm not fond of its audio segment which is why I have ffdshow for that)
Windows Media Player plays the Real stuff properly, I found out just now. Problem solved, albeit inconveniently
